A PROGRAM FOCUS

The Academy of Language Arts(ALA) School is a newly established school with official recognition in 2009 is now operated its programs aimed at assisting Cambodian younger generation in English Language Arts. ALA programs are focused on:

• English Language and Arts
• General knowledge from Pre-school up to lower high school
• Skill learning
• Computer training
• Customized courses

PRE-SCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

This program is to engage developing minds, allowing students to see the world from different perspectives, and teaching students to work together cooperatively. Therefore, ALA will focus on the development of school children socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and ethnically within learning and challenging environment.

Children are curious and inquisitive and that we provide them with opportunity to explore, and experience through a study visit and other specific activities to learn from different worlds. Children learn best by seeking and doing, therefore, they are encouraged to think, reason, and create through active participation within and outside classes.

Children will enjoy a broad range of activities and materials which are supplied in the classes to enable each child' growth t proceed naturally.

General English Program

The general English program (GEP) is designed with special attention to youth and adult learners to complement the needs while students studied at the part-time schedule. Special learning materials and text books are well-developed for the learners who need to quickly learn English through development skills - writing, speaking, reading, and listening.

English Proficiency Program

This program is for advanced students who have studied English for many years but could not speak and writing English. Program is covered:

• English Writing Skill
• English Grammar
• Translation and Interpretation Skill
• English Speaking.

In term of English Speaking, Special English Conversation course is in cooperated into the English Proficiency Program to meet the dadly need of Cambodian young generation learners who met the following conditions with English Native Teachers:

1. Do you feel nervous, foolish, and embarrassed when Speaking English?
2. Are you angry that you studied English many years but still cannot speak English?
3. Have you wasted your time in studying English?
4. Have you wasted all your vocabularies after you studied English for many years but still cannot speak English?

New and quick conversation rules, paternal and structural model including ways to say it and pair up and practice are included in the special ENGLISH conversation class which will help English learners to speak English within one year.
